Route description
The off-road route Poland, West Pomerania PL2/EN runs through the Pomeranian Lakeland and has a touristic character. It has been designed to preserve a natural feel, provide real contact with nature, and at the same time show the most interesting places in the region. It connects sections among lakes, forests, and the coastal area, so within one route you experience different landscapes and the climate of Pomerania.
The route is 540 km long and is planned for 7 days. Each stage is about six hours of driving, so there is no need to rush. Along the way, there is time to stop by the water, walk in the forest, or explore at a relaxed pace.
The off-road route is suitable for stock 4×4 vehicles. Its difficulty mainly depends on the weather. In dry conditions it is easy and touristic; in rain it may require more attention.
The route includes sections near lakes, forests, and coastal towns. Along the way there are spots for swimming, walking, fishing, and access to local cuisine.
The stages start and end by the water – by lakes, a pond, or the sea. Accommodation is planned with the assumption of using your own sleeping equipment. Some designated overnight places are paid and require arrangement with the owner, according to the Guide.
