Route description

The off-road route Poland, Bieszczady 11/PL was prepared as a one-day trip. It starts in Sanok near one of the largest and most interesting open-air museums in Europe and ends at a regional restaurant in Polańczyk.

It is 81 km long and easy, suitable for standard 4×4 vehicles. River crossings may be challenging. Before crossing, it is recommended to check the water depth and use bridge detours if needed. For those interested, one alternative, more difficult section is included.

The route enters the Bieszczady Mountains and runs through their most characteristic areas – forests, hills and surroundings of Lake Solina. It is a calm, sparsely populated region with a lot of nature and good conditions for off-road driving and active travel.

This is a good route for relaxed driving with stops and sightseeing along the way. You can see many viewpoints, local landmarks and less known places such as the “Glider Airfield” or the “miraculous spring”. The most famous attraction is the Solina dam, currently a growing tourist and entertainment area.
